Conference Room

Located in the middle of a rooftop garden, the conference room in Science Tower overlooks the city of Graz. In order to highlight its key role in the building, the top floor was laid out as a multifunctional room hosting conferences, workshops and events. This quality is emphasized by a monolithic media wall, which contains all communication and playback devices behind concealed acoustic panels, and an extensive lighted glass ceiling which is capaple of creating different athmospheres.

The mirrors that conceal the adjoining utility rooms expand the space visually, creating the impression of an annular wardrobe/storage space floating around the media wall. The consistent use of stainless steel for claddings as well as constructive parts refers to the surrounding architecture.
